Reserve

Cargèse

Located on the Punta di Cargèse, almost 100 metres above sea level on a promontory at the northern end of the Gulf of Sagone. The coast has 5 beaches which are, from north to south, Chiuni beach, Peru beach to the north of the village, Stagnoli beach (or Confina beach), Menasina beach to the southeast of the village of Cargèse, and Capizollu beach between Porto Monaghi and Punta di Molendinu, where the Greeks who came to found Paomia landed in 1676.

Piana

The village of Piana is one of the most beautiful sites in Corsica, classified as of world interest by UNESCO. The village overlooks the Gulf of Porto facing the peninsulas of Senino and Scandola. Ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, picturesque with its white houses arranged in an amphitheatre and dominated by the beautiful Sainte-Marie church, the village serves as a backdrop to an exceptional site offering many visits and excursions.

Sagone

Not far from Ajaccio (45 minutes by car), and 13 km south-east of Cargèse, the Gulf of Sagone offers magnificent beaches and a hinterland that never fails to surprise with the many activities on offer. This is where the oldest cathedral in Corsica is located. Menhirs and Roman ruins have also been discovered. Otherwise, the village of Sagone is a pleasant seaside resort despite some recent construction.
